STEP 1
Log in and register on swyouthsoccer.com website under volunteers and select "find volunteer roles," select either "head or assistant coach."  Select the age bracket you want to coach, select user registering or set up new user to coach.  Note how your name is entered and email address used so you can enter these the same when registering with US Soccer.  Fill out form and submit.

STEP 2
In order to have a cleared RMA (risk status/background check), all coaches need to 1ST complete the SafeSport and Intro to Safety online training. ALL CURRENT CERTIFICATES EXPIRED 4/30/2023

SafeSport & Intro to Safety refresher training for volunteers who have previously completed SafeSport Training--

1) https://learning.ussoccer.com/
2)Create a user profile (use the same name and email address as you use to register on swyouthsoccer.com)
3)Go to the coaching courses menu and click on your profile
4)Enter prior SafeSport certificate number
5)Go to available courses and select "supplemental courses"
6)Complete the refresher "SafeSport" course
7)Complete the "Intro to Safety" course

First-time SafeSport & Intro to Safety training for volunteers who have never completed this before--

1) https://learning.ussoccer.com/
2)Create a user profile (use the same name and email address as you used to register to coach on swyouthsoccer.com)
3)Go to available courses in the coaching menu and select "supplemental courses"

4) The complete online training for the initial certificate is 3 mini-trainings. When you've completed all three, you will see a button to download your SafeSport training certificate. If you have completed the training for the first time already (last year), the renewal requires a shorter training. ALL COACHES WILL HAVE EITHER INITIAL OR RENEWAL TRAINING FOR SAFESPORT.

5)Complete the Intro to Safety course.  There will not be a certificate for this one, so just screen shot this.

6) If your emails are identical for US Soccer and your RMA login in swyouthsoccer.com (see 3rd Step below), the systems will sync and you will not need to download or upload your SafeSport certificate or Intro to Safety. If the emails are not identical, you will need to download the SafeSport Training Certificate to your computer, screen shot the completion of the Intro to Safety course, and then upload the certificate when you apply for your RMA (risk status). 

Step 3
Then every coach needs to 2ND apply for their RMA (risk status)--   ALL CURRENT RMAs EXPIRED 4/30/2023
